Beta Readers Round Table Program

The second BETA READERS PROGRAM was a great success! The four submitted manuscripts were critiqued and sent back to the authors with great comments and suggestions on the July 8th Round Table.
The next round of Beta Readers will be April 2013. Check back for more info.

For any member with a completed manuscript (any genre) that would like to submit their entire story for a complete read through and critique by other GFWWriter members.

All manuscripts will be assigned to at least 2 Beta Readers. Members will have 5 weeks to review the submitted work.

Then at the Round Table Critique session the readers sit with the writer and critique one-on-one. This is a content critique session, not line editing. Beta Readers focus on plot, characterization, pacing, and other general story issues (not grammar, punctuation, or word choice).

If there are more than 2 or 3 completed manuscripts to review, we will split into smaller groups (that way Beta Readers aren’t forced to read that many novels in 4 weeks.)
